Miss Olive Branion and Lela Law-
son, daughter of Rev. Lawson left
last week to take up training for pro-
fessional nurses at Victoria Hospital
London. Before leaving the congre-
gation of 'the Presbyterian , church
presented Miss Branion with a leath-
er club bag and a 'gold wrist watch,
and to Miss Lawson, a hand l=ag and
money,, coupled with a splendid ad-
dress to each young woman,
The senior department of the pub-
ic school which was closed last week
owing to the teacher's illness, has re-
opened again with both teachers at
their work.
Ernest Bosley, a returned soldier,
who came here last year and started
up as a painter, has now moved with
bis wife to London and has taken a
position with Sznalimaii & Ingram.
