A SAD BEREAVEMENT
3rr. and Mrs. Geo. Hunter, of Us -
borne have the sincere sympathy of a
host of friends in the loss of their
daughter Edith Mae,` who died on
Saturday last aged 12 years 1 month
and 1 day. The deceased had suffer-
ed for some time with an affection of
the bone in her leg. On the Sunday
preceeding her death she lapsed into
a state of semi -unconsciousness from
which she never rallied. She was a
bright and attractive child, and was
a favorite among her school compan-
ions. What makesthebereavement

three years ago her little brother Joe
was kicked by a colt and died from
the effects. Besides the grief-strick-
en parent, one brother Hubert, sur-
vives. Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Hawkins,
of town, are grandparents of the de-
ceased. Two years ago Mr. and Mrs.
Hawkins took Edith on a trip
through the West. The funeral was,
held on Monday and was largely at-
tended. Rev. H. J. Armitage, ' of
Elimville, conducted the service, in-
terment took place in the Exeter
cemetery.
