ed last week than an Exeter Old Boy
now living in Toronto, had died. We
are glad to know that the report was
an error.
Rev. A. J. Langford, of St. Marys.
has accepted a call to the Trinity
:Methodist ' church at Peterboro, to
take place at the beginning of the
next conference term.

anniversary of her 73th birthday on
Friday, March 3rd, at the home of
her daughter, Mrs. R. Skinner. There
were present a number of her child-
ren, grand -children and great
grand-chidren, to wish her ' many

SPRING WEA TH?ER.
The weather for nearly a week,
was very mild and spring-like. The
snow had practically all disappeared
and the frost was beginning 'to come
out of the ground. Sap commenced
to run from where the 'limbs had
been broken from the maple trees.
It turned colder ori Tuesday -accom-
panied by snow.
CHOIR CONCERT
The choir of the James St. Meth-
odist church gave a:niusioal` enter-
tainment in the church, on "Friday
evening last. The program consist-
ed of miscellaneous numbers follow-
od °by the rendering of the "Crucifix-
ion" by Stainer. Messrs. Goodwin
and Milne Rennie, of Hensall, took
the solo. work. The attendance was
not as large as the program deserved..
