It was ably handled by Prof, Bishop, of St. Mary:; who by his skill added greatly to the rendering of, this oratorio; The choir dressed ,in white, the .sopranos with blue rosettes arid the contraltos with red rosettes; presented an attractive I appearance. The one regrettable feature of the whole affair was the lack of support from the community. At the Thursday evenings entertain- ment the attendance teas only fair•. Friday evening the weather was very unfav'orabie and the crowd was small. The expense of producing a chorus on Such- as large, scale is. considerable.
