Charging the same fare as the rail-
ways and making the trip in seven
and a half hours, twelve giant pas-
senger airplanes will he placed in
regular service between New York
and Chicago on May lst. On the
same date service will also start be-

Miss Flossie Hunter, who has spent

Mr. Czar Harness has the highest
score made onthe bowling alley since
it was taken over by the Y.P.C.A.
His score is 202 breaking Mr. F. M.
Boyle's score of 190.
The hockey executive have issued
a ticket that will admit the holder to
all games played in Exeter this win-
ter. The ticket can be purchased
from any member of the executive.
There was some talk at the County
Council of the Progressives seeking
to elect one of their number as War-
den next year. The present custom
is to elect a Conservative and Liberal

Mrs. John Gould and daughter,

vid Campbell at' Ingersoll on Satur-
day. The decaesed was a young man.
He was a lineman and was injured
several years ago by a fall from 'a
pole.
