Nadiger are visiting in Kitchener at present. The death occurred here early on Tuesday morning of one of the old residents o1', town in the person of Mrs. G> Nadiger.' Mrs. Nadiger was in her 70th year and had been ailing for some time. She ;is survived by her husband, 3 daughters and 2 sans. Interment took place on Thursday afternoon to the Lutheran, cemetery Rev. Considerable damage, was caused to fences and crops by the great rain storm on Sunday last. Mrs. A. Wildfong is indisposed and under the doctor's care. Chiselhurst Mr. James Morrison, who left these parts Anne years ago and who is now livineein Manitoba, is at present paying a visit to his sisters, Mrs. D. McNaughton and Mrs. A. Swan, of Hensall. Mr. and Mrs• H. Kercher, after an extended honeymoon trip, have taken up their residence n the 14th concession. They carry with them the best wishes of their many friends in their future life. The recent storms laid 'the oats in many fields and there was a large quantity of water left in every hol-' 'low. Potatoes and beans seem to have felt the effect of the heat which fol- lowed, but on the whole the damage was slight. Granton Mi'. T. E. A.
