The death occurred here early on
Tuesday morning of one of the old
residents o1', town in the person of
Mrs. G> Nadiger.' Mrs. Nadiger was in
her 70th year and had been ailing
for some time. She ;is survived by her
husband, 3 daughters and 2 sans.
Interment took place on Thursday
afternoon to the Lutheran, cemetery

Mr. James Morrison, who left
these parts Anne years ago and who
is now livineein Manitoba, is at
present paying a visit to his sisters,

Mr. and Mrs• H. Kercher, after
an extended honeymoon trip, have
taken up their residence n the 14th
concession. They carry with them
the best wishes of their many friends
in their future life.
The recent storms laid 'the oats in
many fields and there was a large
quantity of water left in every hol-'
'low. Potatoes and beans seem to have
felt the effect of the heat which fol-
lowed, but on the whole the damage
was slight.

count of the recent heavy rainfall,
states that during the thirty hours of

Some excitement was ,caused on
Tuesday evening when a .swarm of
bees lit on one of the evergreen trees
on Mr. D. B. McLean's lawn, Mr.
Fred Simmons, who is quite a bee ex-

Anna Brill; beloved wife of Mr.
Christian Either, passed away at her
late home in Zurich on 'Wednesday,
June 29th, age 58 years, 7 mouths
and 2 days. Deceased had been bed-
fast for • about a year, She was born
at New Hamburg, November 2nd,
1862, and came with her parents,
45 years ago to Zurich, where she
resided to the time of Iter death.
