Mr. and Mrs. Robert Keys of Parkhill were guests over Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Lawson. Mr. and Mrs. W. M: Morrison of Owen Sound were guests at ` Mr. S. Fitton's over .the week -end. Mr. 'Giles. Cole is in Toronto this week attending a druggists' conven- tion. Mr. E. A. Foilick, accompanied by Mr. Ed. French, of Toronto, spent Sunday at his home here. Mrs. Geo. Howald and her bro- ther, Will Newcombe, visited with their brother, at Stratford last week. Mrs. Atkinson is in London Town- ship attending the wedding of her niece. Mrs. Kenneth Gordon and her daughter, June, are visiting at the home of her sister, Mrs. Orville Southcott. Her many friends w111 be glad to know that Mrs. R. Welsh, now at Dr. Hyndnaan's Hospital, is steadily on the mend. The scholars of school No. 5, Ste- phen, gave their teacher a shower last Friday night at the home of Mrs. Saar: Jory. Mr. and Mrs. Thompson of Bee - ton are visitors at the home of Mr. 'and Mrs. S. Martin. They are enjoy- ing their honeymoon. r. and Mrs. Harry Rowe and Mr. and Mrs. J. G.
