Mr. Amos Doupe, of Cherry Grove District, Alberta, and a former resi- dent of Kirkton, died recently in his 59th year. Ile left Kirkton about 21 years ago. His widow, three daugh- ters and five sons survive. Mr. J. Hunkin, who has the con- tract for the cement work of the Brin,sley Methodist Church, started operations this week. Several of the workmen who Were employed at the flax/nil' are assisting Mr. Hun - kin in order to rush the work.
