INDUCTION Ol+' NEW PASTOR.
The Presbytery of Huron met at
the Thames Road church on Thurs-
day, Apirl 7, 1921, at two o'clock
in the afternoon and inducted Rev.
G. DI, Chidley- into the pastorate of
Thames Road and Kirkton Presby-
terian Churches. A 'very large con-
gregation was .in attendance. Rev.
Mr. Lundy, of Kippen, opened the
induction service and preached an
excellent sermon. Rev. Mr. M.Iclntosh
of Brucefield, moderator of the
Presbytery, .then inducted Mr. Chid-
ley into the pastorate and members
wee of the Presbytery gate to Mr. Chid-

Flax -Co. This company- has been em-
ploying. from 20 to 25 Bands all win-
ter and the wages paid was'from
$3.50 to $4.53i a day. Like all other
industries 'the;•-ilaa industry' has ex-
perienced a. . slump and at present
the market is very dull.: This week_
the wages of •the, employees was-
chauged from a time basis to piece
