Mr. Parnaby let his month-old
chicks out for a run and they made
for some decayed apples and got so
full of bronlo-seltzer that more than
half of them were intoxicated and
two of the hilarious crowd died of
delirium tremens.
The dramaticplay, entitled "The
New Schoolma'nl," given in the Sun-
shine Methodist Church on Monday
night'by the Woodham Epworth
League was a; splendid rendition and
gave much enjoyment to the Iarge
audience. Every part was taken to
perfection, and it would be unfair'
to single out any member for special
mention when all contributed so well
to make the play so effective. Mr.
and Mrs. Parnaby 'irendered musical
numbers between the` acts.
