McAllister gave an excellent address at the James Street League on Tuesday evening. Miss Curliss has returned to town and is preparing to re -open her mil- linery store. Mrs. Rousom, of Toronto, is visit- ing her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Bissett. Misses Della and Lillian Brooks, of Centralia, were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Powe over the week -end. Miss Lillian Boyle, of Toronto, is visiting with Miss L. Martin and. other friends in town for a few days. Miss Reta Rowe's room in the public school was closed on Monday owing to the teacher's illness., Caven Church have postponed their S. S. entertainment from Fri- day to Monday evening, February 14th. Howard of the New York branch of the Canadian Bank of Commerce, is spending :a few days with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Goldie is an old Kitchener boy and no doubt will re- ceive a warm reception fromhis old home team.
