DIED IN STRATFORD.
A sad death took place at the Gen-
eral Hospital, Stratford, an 'Dec, 2nd,
when Annie Luella Westcott, wife of
William Twamley„ passey away after
an illness of three weeks from blood
paisoaing in ,her 35th year. Mrs,
Twamley was the youngest daughter
of Mrs. Wm. Wes;tcott of Seaforth,
formerly of Exeter. Besides her .hus-
band she is survived by a family of
two sons and two—daughte's.
HOSKIN-RICE,
A very quiet but pretty wedding
took place in the First eeethodist
Church London, on Dec. 1, when -Em-
ily Almira Rice of that city, was un-
ited in marriage to ,Mr. William Mel-
ville Host, -in, on of - 1r. and Mrs.
Richard Hoskin. The bride, who was
given away in marriage by her brother,
Mr, Shouldice S. Rice of Streetsville,
looked ;very charming in a gown of
shell pink georgette, trimmed with
Il
gold lace, wearing a veil caught with
orange bidssoms and corsage bouquet
of Ophejjra roses. The bride's sister
Miss Gertie ,Rice, was the bridesmaid,
The groom, was assisted by Mr. Nelson
Ralson. Following The ceremony a
very dainty buffet luncheon was served
at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs.
Preston E. Jolliff, after which Mr.
and .Mrs. Hoskin left for Toronto',

bride's travelling costume was of navy
gaberdine embroidered in silk, with
seal collar and hat to match. On their
return they will reside at 24 Redout

Monday morning on two charges—one
for stealing a horse and buggy, some

kins and George Beatty of London

that of indecent assault on a 11 -year
old daughter at Thomas Austin of
Hibbert Township, Preliminary hear-
ing was given hien on both charges and
he etas sent to 'Goderich for trial,

The 0. H. A. grouping in. Western
Ontariowas announced on. Tuesday.
Exeter and Goderich Intermediate
teams are alone in Group Eleven, with
a double schedule .to be played and
goals 'to count. This means that Ex-
eter and Goderich will play two games
in each town. It is unfortunate that
there, are nott more teams in this group
but when the Northern, Hockey League
grouping is announced there may be
a greater number of - teams in elle
grouping. The elate). schedule will
undoubtedly :give a good series cif
games.
