DEATH OF MR, EAST,
There passed away at his home,-
Huron street, Exeter, Mr. George
Frederick East, on Thursday mornieg
last, after a long and tedious period
of suffering from the effects of can-
cer, at the age la 46 years and one !,
month. Deceased had undergone op-'
erasions for the removal of the trouble
but these only afforded temporty re
iiei, and the great wonder of it is
that be endured the intense sufferiing
So long, but he bore it all with re-
markable fortitude and ;patience to
the end. Mr. East was a native aof
England and came to Exeter with his
wife on. August 3rd, 1912. For a few
years they resided in the Township of
Stephen, after which they moved to
Exeter and have since made. this their
brother: home:. Deceased was a. member of
the pre.- the Tri ett Memorial Church and when
