DEATH OF MARIA GLANVILLE After as few months' residence 3n Exeter the death .occurred on Nov. 6 of Maria Jane Glanville, at the age of 58 years, 11 months ,and 22 days. De -s ceased had been a resident -of Stephen practically all her life, moving to Ex- eter a year or so ,ago with her father and brother, Lyman. She was troubl- ed with dropsy and had been 311 some time. Besides those mention. she is survived by a brother, Arthur of Ex- eter, a brother, Frank of Stephen, and two sisters, Mrs. T, Crewes of town and iNiiss Ida of Stephen. The funeral took place from their residence Main Street, on Saturday to the Exeter cemetery. EXCELLENT ENTERTAINMENT. The musical concert given in the Opera Houde on :Monday by the Lon- don Conservatory Concert Company proved to be a most pleasing affair. The weather was unfavorable but a faer crowd was in attendance. Each num- ber was repeatedly encored and the artists graciously responded. Mr. Her- man J. Brouwer, baritone, and Miss Clois Terry, soprano, have rem arkably fine voices, while. Miss Florence Dew- ey, violinist, and Mr. F. L. Willgoose, accompanist, are masters of the vio- lin and piano,, respectively. After the program communety singing was indulged in and several of the old and popular melodies were sung by the artists and audience together. It is seldom that a musical entertainment is' more thoroughly enjoyed than this one was. • Dr. McGillicuddy of London was in town Saturday. Mrs.. R. N. Creech is spendiing, a week in Brantford, Mr. Walter Dearing was up. from London over Sunday. Mr. Thos. Newell visited, with -his parents in Stretfgrd on Tuesday. The ceremony over the happy Couple were motored to the depot where they took the train for a honeymoon trip to Buffalo and on their return they will make their home in the Forest City.
