DAYLIGHT THROUGH
THE PLANT
YOU flood the factory with the most brilliant
artificial light when you use HYDRO Gas
Filled Lamps. The worker in the middle of the
room, away from all windows, turns out as good
work and as much of it as the worker right by a
window.
HYDRO Cas Filled Lamps are as great an.
improvement over vacuum lamps, for factory
light, as the tungsten is over the carbon filament
lamp. That's why factory hands work so
efficiently by the light of HYDRO.
The guarantee and endorsement of the Hydro -
Electric Power Commission of Ontario are behind
every HYDRO Gas Filled Lamp. Every ship-
ment is tested by experts.in the laboratories of
the Commission. The tests are for brilliancy,
current consumption, life and mechanical per-
fection.
Will you call at the Hydro Shop and let us give
you a practical demonstration of the HYDRO
Gas Filled Lamp?

LIBERTY LEAGUE
Is Absolutely Opposed to a 'Return of
the Old License System
The Citizens' Liberty League, consisting of prominent men and
women in Ontario, place themselves on record as being un-
qualifiedly opposed to any measures that tend to bring back the
bar and the unrestricted sale of spirituous liquors.
On the ether hand, the Citizens' Liberty League sincerely be-
lieves that the present situation demands a repeal of the unsat-
isfactory Ontario Temperance Act, and the inauguration of
sans, moderate temperance legislation.
These ding men and women, with no selfish ends to serve, and having in
roiled slaty tie best interests of all the people in Ontario, are convinced that
the km s istion is the teaeperance problem is to allow the general sale of
more appetising, non -int zicstin beer and light wines, with the sale of
spiritism liquors pima' piunder proper Government regulations and
Units with the Citizens' Liberty League in its earnest, sincere endeavor to
obtain temperance legislation which meets the needs of all but curtails the
