eter., or Mary Ann Wilson, relict of
the law Hugh Oke, aged St years, 3
manthr, and 4 days, Deceased had
been .!a for two or three years, from

eral t,.m her life had been despaired
•:f, but a strong constitution fought
oft the inevitable for several months,.
Born in Innisk'ilIen, County Cavan,
Ireland she came to Canada as a girl,
)settling first at Hampton, where she
married and she and her husband then
came to McGillivray Township, '.where
they took up farming, and over forty
years age retired to Exeter, Mr. Oke
died scvcral years since, and (luring
the last few years Mrs. Oke reside:i
with her daughtterr Deceased was a
devate;l mother, and a consistent
Christian, being a member of James
Street Methodist Church. Two sans
and three daughters survive, Wil9iam
and Andrew of Seaforth, Mrs. jos.
Hawkins of Exeter, Mrs. Wm. Htggins
of Clinton, and hiss Lida' of Toronto,
all of whom were here far the funeral
which took place to the Exeter cern
etery on Tuesday afternoon.
