Evangelical Suntla.y Schoolb which took
place last Sunday was a decided suc-
cess, The school room was crowded
to the doors. The decorations were
left in, the hands of the S. P. I. class
and they deserve to be congratulated
tor the tasty manner in which the
work was done. Addresses were de-
livered by Rev. Zimmerman, of Seb-
erin,gvaile John Preeter and Gottfreid
Gestreicher of Dashwood. Special
music was eendered by the Sunday
School orchestra, A beautiful shield
was awarded to; the class receiving
the gre•atest number of marksi. "eliss
Lulu Galser was presented with a
beautiful Bible for receiving 'the most
marks or Work. Twenty-

through the 'perdenal work of the
scholars. We hope' this special 'ef-
fort will bring about greater enthus-

A Sad accitlent occurred here on
Monday oevening last, when, 1Mr. John
Brown i.ats, 'instantly killed by a. fall,
\fr. Brown was engaged in plastering

standing ,on, gave away and he fen
to, the b,ottom, a, distance of 30 feet,
and weighing ,o\rer two -hundred and,
Corty pounds he' died almost instantly
from the h o ck. He was aged about
68 years and leaves a wife and three.
