Beer suffered a second stroke of par-
alysis on Friday afternoon fast and
although now somewhat better, he is
still in a serious !coindition. 'Previous
to the rain that afternoon he had
gone .irate the lgard•en, and while at
work was stricken, ,and no. one know-
ing where he was he was forced to
stay there yin the h'.eavy-sharer that
fell, and afterwards was found help-
less, and was .inlayed to the house.
