-There: passed away at his Lorne Main
Street, Exeter, ph Wec1aesday of last
week another of: the oldest' and most
esteemed residents of Exeter and
farmer resident of ._McGillivray Tp.in
the personoff, Wilhzm parthcey. De-
ceased:' had been in - very poor health
for several 'months. Last fall : he suf-
fered from the`effects -of the burst-
ing of a varicose vain in his leg, which
developed sotne'time`later into gang-
rene, and during the past �.twa boon-
the he has been cpndined to his bed
suffering intensely, Mr, Deuncey was
a native of England, being, barn in
Soniersetseire„ He came to Canada
with his parents when six,,,years' of
age and settled. in -YOrk Odunty,,ntear•
Toronto. Its 1852 the family moved

it was there he married xMargaret C,
Bennett;, Immediately after his mar-
