He has of late been using some. eye -water for as affection of the eye, and on this occasion he inadvertently got 'hold of a bottle containing carbolic acid, and before 'recognizing his mistake had dropped a little into. the eye, with the result that it was severely burn- ed, although not as badly as one would imagine.
