Samuel Q. Hersey, a farmer well-
known grocer and liquor dealer of
Exeter : died at his late' home, 346
Rushrtlme Toronto. on Monday last,
For pinny years the ' deceased lived
in Lucan where he bought and ship-
ped grain. From there he moved to
Exeter buying the business of Mr.
George Mace, ;an the corner of :Main
and Sanders streets. After remaining
in business here for a number of years
he mored with his family to London,
where he continued too reside up till
about five years ago when he went
.to Toronto, His remains were taken
to Landon for burial, the funeral
taking place to Mount Pleasant Cern-
etetry on Wednesday, ~ Deceased is
