tions.
Duties -Six months residence upon
and cultivation of the land in each of
three years. A homesteader may live
within, nine miles of his homestead on
a farm ck at least 80 acres, on cer-
tain conditions. A habitablehouse is
required except where residence is
performed ,in the vicinity.
Live stock may be isubstitu•ted for
cultivation under certain conditions.

ter -section alongside his homestead.
Price $3.00 an acre.
Duties -Sia months residencein

A very pretty wedding was cele,-
bratel on Jan. lOthi. . at the home of
Mr. arnJ Mrs. Prance Greenway, when
their 'daughter, Sarah Jane, was unit-
inmarriage ea Mr. John G. Lovie,
of Grand Bend, Rev. Mr. Will iarrs
officiating. The bride looked charm-
ing in a gown of mauve crepe de
chem and was attended by Miss Min-
nie Lovie, sister of the groom, who
ware a beautiful (dress of flesh-col-
orea silk. The ,groom was supported
by "Mr..' Jaynes Prance, brother of the
bride, At twelve o'clock the bridal
party entered ,the parlor to the strains
of the ,wedding marchplayed by Miss
Eva Johnson, ,cousin of the bride and
took their places beneath an arch of
evergreens and roses. After the cer-
emony the company repaired to the
Jining-rooln .where a very, dainty din-
ner was served, after •which the happy
couple left for Hamilton and other
