speech. The latest report says he
is showing signs of improvement.

The McDanell, Dickson & Carling
three story block last year underwent
a thorough renovation of the interior.
This year fine cellars have been made
underneath, the front painted, the
back walls coated with cement and a
new chimney erected from the ground
up. The block is now in fine shape

Reeve Taylor has just received word

Y., has •enlisted with. the' 176th Rangers
of Niagara•. at Camp Barden. He now
has two sons treating the King's uni-
form, his son Gordon being now in
Faience and has been on the firing
line since last February. His son
F,nank tis'alsa serving in the American
navy in the West Indies. A remark-
able coincidence happened in connec-
tion with letters written by Mr. Tay-
lor's three sons—Nielson in Alberta,
Frank in the West Indies and,
Gordon in France. The strange part
of. it was •that Mr, Taylor received a
letter from all tha;ee the same day and
that 'received from Frank and Gordon'
were written the same day.
