FUNERAL OF GEORGE I3LATCH
FORD.—The body of the late George
Blatchford came to the surface of
Lake .Huron. at Goderi,cb, on .Saturday
morning last after being nearly five
days under water, and was brought
to Exeter the same evening. The
funeral took {place on ,Sunday after-
noon to the Exeter cenietery and was
conducted by the ,Oddfellows of the
Exeter Lodge. it was very largely
attended, Besides the parents the
young man is ;survived by three bro-•-
thers and three sisters, Dr. Francis
Blatchford of Fort William, Herbert
of Kindersley, Sask., Roy of Toronto
Mrs Wood of Usborne, Mrs. Link -
tater of near Goderich and Miss Ida
at home. All were present at the
funeral , as was also a cousin Mr. Vic-
tor Blatchford of Listowel.
