GOULD.— The sad and unexpected death occurred on Friday evening last at a private hospital in. London of Jennie Rowe, beloved wife of Mr. James Gould of Exeter, aged 60 years, 1 month, 13 -lays. Mrs. Gould had been ill for a year or more, and not iimproving she was sent to London some months ago; and reports stated that she was improving gradually, so that when the family received word on Thursday that she was very low it was a great shock to thein. Mr. Gould immediate ly tventto the city, but she passed away as stated. Born at Sharon, in Stephen Township, Mrs. Gould .re- siided in this neighborhood all her life. She was a highly- esteemed woman, kind and affectionate to husband and family and to all with whom she came in contact, and she `wits be greatly massed by the family and all her friends. After the 16th of June of this year the Park at Grand Bend will beunder new management. Grand Bend has come to be acknowledged as one tof the best health and "summer resorts in Ontario. CREAMERY SOLD.—Mr. John Scott, who has been conducting the creamery here for a number of years last week sold the business and prem- ises to Mr. W. G. Medd, who co.u- ducls the Winchelsea creamery. Mr. Scott has not yet decided as to his future plans, 'but we trust that he and his worthy family will continue to be residents of Exeter.
