RHEUMATISM ARRESTED
Many people'suffer the tortures of lame
muscles and stiffened joints because of im-
purities in the blood, and each succeeding
attack seems more acute until rheumatism
has invaded the whole system.
To arrest rheumatism it is quite as im-
portantto improve your general health as
to purify your blood, and the cod liver
oil in Scott's Emulsion is nature's great
blood -maker, while its medicinal noun.sh-
ment strengthens the organs to expel the
impurities and upbuild your strength.
Scott's Emulsion is helping thousands
every day who could not find other relief.

.DEPARTURE OF" -EXETER BOYS
They are going to the war,
Theis ,country to defend;
And they'll face the German foe
Until the very end.
They are going to the war
Wirth hearts true and brave
To preserve the ancient saying,
"Britons never shall be slaves"
They are going to the war
Because their country calls;
They dare not shirk the work
Which upon their shoulder falls,
For they'll fight for flag and country
They'll fight for King and throne,
They'll fight with all their might
Until the victory's won.
They are leaving home and friends,
Leaving well-known Ioved ones too,
To join their King's regiment
And win a second Waterloo.
They are standing for the right,
Nor will they e'er regret
That they fought for home and country -
Nor will their friends forget.
Their mother hates to part
With her sons so young and free.
And she prays within her heart
That those sons again she'lli see;
And Oh, how she longs
That this time of strife was o'er,
That her boys were home, again
To leave her never more.
-,And''th4 bays how proud they'll be
When they are homeward bound,
Whey they no more shall see
Dead comrades lying round;
When they can proudly say,
Ana say if frank and free,-
Oh, Canada, fair Canada;
We did it all for thee,
