The death caused a shock to many, as only a few days ago he seemed to be on the road to recovery, and was beginning to feel like himself again. Mr. Swartz was one of the best-known horsemen in Western Ontario. He was in the 52nd year of his age, and is survived by his wife and three daughters, also hi= father several sisters and brother in Goderich.
