He was about ,to ascend to the top of the oil tank wagon when in some way he slippedi and fell with the result that he ,brake the large hone in his leg between the knee and ankle. GRAND LODGE.—The Grand Lodge of Oddfellowrs met in Stratford last week with 800 repres- entatives in attendance. Reports showed the membership to be in- creasing in spite of the war; and that $8,000 a year was being ex- pended to pay dues of Oddfellows at the front. It was decided that the grand lodge officers receive the same salaries as last year; and that district meetings be not later than the second week in September.
