Mr, Simon Hunter received word on
Saturday of the death ; of his .. can,
Jahn. who has. been residing iete the
West for some years. Death was due
to pneumonia _of which he had •teen
ill .several days. Besides relatives
here he is survived by a wife and
two children. The remains are .,.,being
brought here for interment, which
wilt probably take place on Friday.

veil pleasing event • on Wednesday
December 9th, at high noon, when
their daughter, Miss Clara J,, became
the bride of Mr. Alfred Coates. The
ceremony, which was witnessed by
