Miss Tiplady of Clinton is the truest

a car of cattle, to Toronto Saturday.
Mr. Sato Rowe, who has, been in

family there shortly.

Mr T. E. •Handford's Sunday
School Class in Ingersoll held a ban-
quet on Friday night in Ingersoll Inn.
Mr. Handford is continuing his work

The shooters who spent last week
in Hay had . rather indifferent luck
as the weather was bad. A se ore of
rabbits and a dozen of birds how-
ever, fell victims to their gunwork.
Mr. Samuel Beaver and family of
Stephen moved to town Tuesday last

plying a roasted chicken for dinner at
the camp. The day was very wet

tboroughly enjoyed, and nine rabbits
were gathered in.
Dairy Inspector A. O. Francais,
whose home is in Usborne; was here
last week testing the cows of Messrs.
11 Smith and John Ratcliffe.. After
the first of January he will ; ikely
take up more extended territory, as
he has been asked by the Govern-
ment to tale in other provinces • be-
sides Ontario and Quebec.

which was adjourned from Wednese

Hallowe'en was fairly quiet in town

board and a revolving table when 'he
