BUFFALO, May 12. — Lightship

station in Lake Erie, 15 miles off

Nov. 9 last, was located =in the bot-
tom of the lake off Point Abbacy yes-
terday, by the Government steamer
Surveyor. The Lost vessel -was found
by means ofheavily weighted drag
hooks with which a systematic search
of the lake's bottom wan being made.

lakes region. She carried a crew of
six men. The Government'' experts
expressed the -belief that the bodies
of the crew would ba found in the
fire hold of the ship. Divers will be
sent downto examine the wreck as
soon as weather conditions permit.

On newwoodwork; a stained and varnish finish is often preferred to a painted or enamel
finish and, for this purpose first apply a coat of S -W Oil Stain or S -W Handeraft Stain whieli.
