Council met at Township Hall, Ap-
ril 4th. All the members were pres-
ent. The minutes of the last meeting
were read, approved and signed. By-
law No. 2, 1914, confirming the ap-
pointment of pathnt•asters fox the cur-
rent year was passed, signed and seal
ed, By-law No. 3, 1914, for the pro-
curing of gravel and other material
for repairing and maintaining public
roads, was .passed, signed and sealed,
The Council by resolution asked the
Hydro -Electric Commission to .make a
survey and estimates for an Electric
Railway -from Exeter to St. Marys, to
connect lines running through Huron
County with the proposed line from
Landon to Stratford. A few accounts
were passed and orders issued in pay-
ment Council then adjourned to
meet May 2nd, at one o'clock.
