Loretto youngest daughter of Mrs.

was daintily gowned in white :ixar
quisette and veil trimmed with orange
blossoms and wreath of pearls. The
bride was given away by her brother.

The sad event took place in De-
troit Hospital last week of the death
of Eleanor Trevethick, wife "'of Dr.
J. H. Shelton. of Detroit, and rorm-
eriy ot this village. Her deinise fol-
lowed an operation, the shock, of
which was too severe for her constit-
ution. She leaves to mourn her loss
Edward Trevethich of Alaska, Wes-
ley of Detroit, Thomas of Crediton,
\Irs. Louis Roedding and Miss Mari-
etta Trevethick of London, besides
her husband, The remains were laid
to rest in Exeter cemetery on Thurs-
da3 , the . funeral taking place from
Exeter depot. She was aged 55 -ears
11 months and 3 days. The relatives
have our sincere sympathy.

and Carter Scholarship for the Coun-
ty of Middlesex as a pupileof the

ed by any company shall be sub-

AND, WHEREAS the Mount Car-
mel and •Celitraiia Telephone Assoc-
iation has now made application to
the Board for the approval of the said
tariff charge of $12 (Twelve Dollars)
per annum for telephone service
-AND IT APPEARING that thea
failure of- the said Mount Carmel And
Centrals Telephone Association to
report the change in, its tariff char
ges for telephone service as aforesaid'
was due to ignorance of the require-
ments of "The Ontario Telephone
Act" in this respect and not by wil-
ful intent
THE BOARD NOW ORDERS
that the tariff charge for telephone
service of $12 (Twelve Dollars) per
annum made by the, said Mount Car-
mel and Centralia Telephone Assoc-
iation is hereby approved.
THE BOARD FURTHER OR-
DERS that this"'order shall come :nto
full force and effect, on the first day
of November, A. D. 1913, provided,
however, that any personor persons
who niay now or hereafter be affect-
ed by the provisions of this Order,
may before . that date make applica-
tion, to the Board to be heard upon
the subject matter of. this Order. •
AND IT IS FURTHER ORDER-
ED that a copy of this Order, shall
be advertised in one issue in : each
week of at least two local newspapers
circulating throughout the territory
in which the Mount Carmel and Cen-
tralia Telephone Association is furn-
ishing .telephone service, during the
