—The foundation of Franklin Horton's
kitchen . is completed. — Fairs are
almost over and everyone is rustling
to make ready for winter.

Mrs Fairall of Toronto is here vis-
iting relatives. -Mr. Jas. Horton has
disposed of his grey prize winning
team to Mr. Doyle of Exeter. It is
needless to say that he received a
good figure.—Mrs. John has been con-
fined. to her room for the past week.
—Miss Nan Horton spent part of the
week with her sister, Mrs. R. J. Pat-
terson, London Road.—The local fairs
are taking the attention of the peo-
ple of this vicinity.—Mr. and Mrs.
John Caldwell were visitors here on
