Air, Robert Leathern went to London
Monday to attend; the 'funeral of his son-
in-law, Mr. Geo. W. Heard, who ,d1ed
on Sunday in ht's 35rd year, after an
illness of several years. Deceased for
many 'years travelled through this dis-
trict for D. S. rPlerrin & Co, and, was
wee known to man} Exeter people. Be-
sides the .widow ho is survived by one
son and one daughter. The funeral was
held on Wednesday.

dents in the person of Caroline Wilt-
shire, widow of the late Chas. Knight,
aged 0.1 years. Deceased was operated

Canada with her late husband first
settling in London, where her husband

London they moved to St. Thomas and

was of a bright, cheerful disposition,
and was 'one of the most kind 'hearted
of women, and' will :be :much, mussedin
the home. Her husband predeceased hof

of Jansen, Sask., John 3., station agent

place from the Exeter, station on, Thurs-
day nnorniing and was largely attended.
Deceased was a member of Exeter Court
at the Independent Order of Foresters
and the members attended the funeral
in a body. Besides those in attendance
from Exeter, Centralia, Biddulph and
Lucan, the following were 'among those
present from a distance,—Mr. I. R.
Bissett and two daughters, and sister,
Muss Ethel of Strathroy, Mr. and Mrs.
E. Irwin of Norwich, Mrs. Mulcahy and
son of • Stratford, Mr. and Mrs. R. Mc-
Falls and !edni Stanley of London, Mr.
and Mrs. Alex. McFalls "of Detroit: The
floral tributes were very beautiful.
