The annual picnic held in connection
with Mt. Carmel parish took place on
Tuesday afternoon and evening, when a
large crowd assembled and sin enjoyable
time was spent. Sevelmii, rinks, of bowlers
competed for the 'silver `vase, and it was
won by Jack Hoover's'Clilnton rink. The
usual , sumptuous tea was served. After
tea an open, air program was given, one
of the features of which was a debate
