Mr. E. M. Brokenshire was in Ego -

week, left Monday to resume her posi

sad duty of recording the death of M•'.
John Winkenweder, sr., which sad
event occurred on Thurs+lay night of
last week. Mr. Winkenweder was ta-
ken ill of typhoid fever five weeks ago
and during his long illness bore his
sufferings with Christian courage,
This is the fourth death in this family
in a little over a month from this(same
dread disease. In the death of this
gentleman the neighborhood loses one
of its best citizens and the family a.

beloved. The wife and . several of a
family survive, two of whom are

sister, Miss Minnie Rodd, while the
