WEDDED: -A very pretty wedding
was solemnized at the home of Fred
Lane, Wolseley, Sask., N.W.T., on
Wednesday, Dec. 27, when Mrs. Lane's
sister, Miss Lauretta Baynham, became
the bride of Walter R. Thompson, a
very prosperous young fartner residing
near Wolseley. The ceremony was
performed by Rev. Hoare in the pres-
ence of immediate relatives only. The
bride was attended by Miss Birdie
Thompson, niece of the groom, while
Mr. Harvey Lane performed the duties
of groomsman. The bridalparty en-
tered the parlor to the strains of the
wedding march, played by : Miss Elia'
Thompson, niece of groom. The cere-
mony and congratulations over, the
party repaired to the dining room,
where a dainty wedding breakfast was.
served. The presents were costly add
numerous, showing the high esteem
in which the young couple were held.
The gr'oom's gift to the bride was a
handsome gold watch and chain with
name and date carved on case, to the
bridesmaid a solid gold bracelet and
to the groomsman gold locket with
initals carved on cover. The happy
couple left Thursday for their new
home, carrying with them the good
wishes of a host of friends. Mr.
Thompson is to be congratulated on
winning one of our most estimable
Centralia girls for his bride, and on ac-
count of her pleasing disposition she
