London, A.pril 26. --The Japanese
legation yesterday afternoon gave

from Tokio:
"The Japanese Consul at Wonsan

boats entered that port and sank a
small Japanese steamer, the Goyo

Kurepathin Doing Things.
St. Petersburg, April 26. -General
Kuropatkin has played a strong card
in the game of strategy. A large
portion of on. Rennenkampff's Ces-
seek cavalry division has been
thrown across the upper reaches of
the Yalu, and a considerable force of
cavalry, which crossed the Tumen
some time ago, is moving down to
the southwest to effect a juncture
with it. Together with this force,
which it is believed total 2;000 men,
he will threaten Lieut. Inouye's
flank when the Japanese are ready
to cross lower down on the Yalu.
Being cornposed of cavalry, with a
few mountain guards, Rennenkampff's
force is very mobile. Unless it is
dislodged it will compel the japan-
ese to leave a very strong army to
guard the communications, whereas
if a Japanese force was sent to drive
t out it would have to move di-
rectly away from the main army,
while the Russian army, if compelled
to fall back, can re -cross in. the di-
rection of the Russian troops concen-
trated in Manchuria.

MR. L. WEAVER, GALT.
Who desires to publicly dOn.firt13 the
history of his remarkable recovery, as
published quite recently by the daily
press of Canada. Mr. Weaver was as •
bad a case of Consumption as might
well be imagined. He was employed
for five years in the grinding room of
James Warnock & Co s, better known
as "The Axe Factory," in Galt. Here
he contracted consumption from the
ateel-laden dust. He persisted with
local physicians' treatment for over a
year, also consulted a number of lung
specialists. They all did their utmost
to cure, but declared Mr. Weaver's an
incurable case of grinder's consurap..
tion giving him but three months
to live. Mr. Weaver himself, de.
spaired of supermanent cure, as two of
his brothers 'before him had already
died of consumption.
It is but seldom that any remedy receives such
strong endorsement as Psychine is receiving
daily. Seldont indeed that the cured come
forward voluntarily to State their case a second
time so that all may be convinced of the truth.
Tilt instance herein reported trent the busy town
of Galt, Ont., is a typical instance of what is
occurring in every city, town, hamlet and country.
Side in this broad Dominion. Scores of people
living in Galt were long ago conversant with the

Scores of people recently celled upon Mr.

arc the good work wrought with Dr. Slocum's

Weaver has also been the reciment of hundreds
of lotters from all parts of the country enqinring
