Rev. Mr. Cra nston,- of Cromarty, performed the marriage ceremony at 6 o'clock in the presence of a goodly number of the rel- atives of the bride and groom. The bride was very handsomely attired in white Persian lawn, with trimmings to match; she also wore a bridal veil and wreath. The wedding march was played by Mrs. Andrew Patrick, sister of the bride. After hearty congratu- lations were bestowed on the newly wedded pair, the company proceeded to the spacious dining room, where a -bountiful and well arranged spread awaited them, which was fully appre- ciated by all. The presents were ex- ceptionally fine and beautiful, and of an exceeding choice variety, and only represent in a small degree the high esteem in which the bride and groom are held.
