The best game of baseball of the season was played on the recreation grounds here Friday afternoon last, between the Ailsa Craig and the Vic- tors of our town, resulting in a victory for the former by a score of 14 to 5. When time was colied shortly after six, a goodly sized crowd greeted the contestants, and it is safe in saying that it was the best game of baseball played here this season. Considering that Ailsa Craighas one of the best amateur tearns in Ontario the home team made a remarkably good show- ing.
