Dauphin sad Gtaatii.
Winnipeg, Dec. 12.—There are no
further Changes to report in the re-
turns from the Manitoba elections.
A report that a ballot -beta was zaiss-
ing in Springfield is unfounded. as
the returning officer arrived at Sel-
kirk last evening, and his return
does not affect the result in that
constituency. Hugh John Macdonald
and a number of followers leave for
Dauphin today to take part in the
elections contest there. Voting takes
place on Friday. and it will be a
close fight. Polling in Gitnli is fixed
for Thursday.
The Legislature,
On the advice of his Ministers His
Honor the Lieutenant -Governor has
been pleased to further prorogue the
Manitoba Legislature to January
25th. By that time the results of
the general elections will probably
be fully known.
