San Francisco, Cal., Aug. 15. -The transport Warren, bringing the Colorado Regiment, which sailed from Manila on July 16, ran up against a typhoon, which battered her up considerably. and has also had to face a mutiny among her men As a result 24 of the Warren's crew underwent trial, and were sentenced for terms varying front three months to two years, and the Warren is sailing for San Francisco with a green crew of Filipinos. Toronto, Aug. 15. -Yesterday morning at 7, Henry Wright of 20 Tyndall arenue and J. A. Pearson of 18 Tynda.11 avenue, while going for a bath, found the body of John W. Bryce of 43 CONVall avenue submerged in eight feet of water just off the Exhibition Wharf. He had, it it fhonght, fallen from the wharf in a fit of dizziness. The deceased was about 35 years old. and leaves a widow and three children. He was a member of the lum- ber flinu of john T. Bryce 4% Co., of Which his father was senior partner.
