asleep in Jesus at the residence of her
daughter, Mrs. David Fisher, Goderich,
on Monday, March 6th, 1899, in the
97th year of her age. She was a -wo-
man of remarkable physical vigor,
having been comparatively free from
sickness during her long life, and un-
til within a few weeks of her departure
was able to walk about the house with
considerable comfort. Her mental
faculties retrained unimpaired to the
last, so that she evidenced a lively
interest in the members of the family,
the friends by whom she was surroand-
ed, and the church of her choice.
Many passages of Scripture and old
hymns learned in childhood came to
her mind with wonderful freshness,
and were often quoted and sung to
brighten the passing hours. She was

of whom grew up to maturity.
