Medical. Inspection and School Nurse . There has already been , a medical inspection ' about Blyth, Auburn, 'Wingham, and the townships adja- cent, with a, view to the permanent engagement ofa school nurse for de- fined districts; this preliminary in- spection will be extended to the whole county and is being done en- tirely at n-tirely•at the expense of the,Govern- ment. The purpose is to safeguard the health of the children and to remedy defects before disease' or weakness have ruined their' constitu tion. A- large part of the perman- ent expense would .be borne by the Government;. the cost perr school would be about $25, not a large sunt if lase purposes are fulfilled. • Adolescent School Attendance Act Has Crowded the Schools The Adolescent School Attendance Act came intoactiveo erate n in September..
