Wingham : Friday the house occu- pied by Mr.Wm.Williamson, on Frances street, took fiae. The firemen were soon on the scene and it was not long until the fire was under control, and not a great deal of damage was done to the house. Mr, Williamson was preparing to move out that day and most of household effects bad been packed and they were removed with safety. The fire is supposed to have starred from the stove pipe, as a quan- tity of rubbish had been burned in. the stove during the forenoon. This is the first fire we have had in town for many a day.
