Search the Wardrobes and
Closets,
In almost every home half -worn gar-
ments and goods are stowed away in
wordrobes and closets that can be made
as good as new and fitted for months of
wear.
The operation of recreating and
]beautifying is simple, the cost is trill-
ing, and the general results beyond
the comprehension of those who are
acquainted with the work of home dye-
ing.
Dresses, jackets, capes, vests, pants,
ribbons, silks, feathers, and a score of
other things worn and faded can be
aransformed into things of beauty and
fashion at a cost from ten to twenty
cents.
Thousands of Canadian famalies use
Diamond Dyes every year and save a
great deal of money. All users of Dia
mood Dyes say it so easy to use them.
The directions are so explicit and sim
I1e"that a child can do good work.
As there is many imitations and
worthless dyes sold, see that your deal-
er gives you the Diamond Dyes when
yonask for them, Common dyes ruin
your goods, Diamond Dyes bring suc-
cess in color and beauty„

Nearly Lost a Finger.
Stratford, July 27,—A painful acci-
dent happened yesterday to Robt. Little
an employe of the Stratford Bridge and
Iron Works. While engaged at his
work the second finger of his left hand
in some way got caught between two
heavy irons, crushing the bone and
tearing the nail nearly off.
Shot Dead While Handling a Gun
Chatham., July 26,—A fatal accident
occurred at Mull, near here on Sat-
urday. Miss Alice McCallum was
handling a shotgun, when the weapon
was accidentally discharged, the charge
entering her left breast. The gun was
left standing in a corner of the room,
and the deceased was removing it to
another part of the room when it dis-
charged. The victim remained uncon-
scious for about an hour after receiv-
ing the wound.

A Bicycle That Sells for $54,
But Worth More Money.
IN order to meet the popular demand for a low priced wheel we have manu-
factured the RUBY RIM, but while selling it at a low price we have been
careful to avoid the defects common with the generality of cheap wheels. The
Ruby Rim possesses the happy distinction of being
The Biggest Bicycle Value
In the Dominion To -day.
The frame is enamelled black and the rims red, the combination making a very
pleasing effect. It is made of high grade material and is finished better than the
bulk of the $100.00 wheels. It is a bicycle built to wear and give honest satis-
faction, while it is second only to the peerless Red Bird in easy running qualities.
Best of all, however,
It Is Fully Guaranteed
by the most liberal of guarantees. This is pretty good evidence that we do not
entertain any doubts concerning its quality. The fact of this guarantee coming
from a Canadian manufacturer make it doubly valuable as repairs are easily got,
and should there be a possible defect no time is lost in making it good. The
Ruby Rim is sold at our various agencies throughout the Dominion, and if you
are a prospective purchaser, you will find it worth your while to examine it, Of
course $54.00 is the spot cash price.
