Tile Old and Broken-down
House.
Keeping the Structure in Good
Condition.
Filling It with heath, Comfort
and Happiness.
When a house becomes dilapidated
and beyond the possibility of repair, it
is removed to make room for a struc-
ture that will have strength and per-
manency.
Our bodies, when not properly cared
for, become frail, weak and broken-
down, and when the work of rebuild-
ing is not commenced in time, death
surely claims the wased and worn-out
frame, and is removed forever.
Can we rebuild our wasted bodies?
Yes; the work can be done even though
the spark of life glimmers but faithful-
ly and feebly. This work of rebuild-
ing is done by the use of Pane's Celery
Compound, that marvellous medicine
which has brought new life to so"many
in the past. This heaven-sent remedy
acts directly on the great nervous sy-
stem, giving new strength to every
nerve, makes fresh vitalizing blood,
increasing weight, and gives fresh
power to every bone and muscle,
When this is accomplished by Paine's
Celery Compound, it is easy work to
keel: the rebuilt house or human struc-
ture in good condition. Ordinary care
is diet, sit ep and general living will
surely keep up the good work, Then
will the rebuilt man or woman be filled
with true health, comfort and happi-
ues$, and life will be worth living,
Will you, dear read, rebuild your
broken-down system ? The work can
be accomplished by you if you call to
your aid Paine's Celery Compound.
No physician is required to aid you,
and you have no heavy bill to meet
after you are made well and whole.
The work has been done for thousands
of others; will you have your share of
good that it bestows?
Hector, the 15 -year old son of John
McConnell, merchant of Harrison, fell
over the bannister of the stairs on the
second flat of the public school to the
floor below, a distance of over 17 feet
When picked up he was unconscious,
and remained so for several hours.
Strange to say, no bones were broken.
There was a disappointed congrega-
tion at St. Joseph's Church, Stratford,
on Wednesday morning. The marriage
of Mr. John Cassidy, of Dublin, Hibbert
township. and Miss Kirkby, of North
Easthope, was to have taken place. The
banns were published on three consecu-
tive Sundays and everything appeared
ready for tllp ceremony. The prospec-
tive groom, a widower over 50, came
to town Tuesday, so as to be on hand
in time. The lady, who is the owner of
some property, is a Protestant, but it
was expected she was ready to turn to
her husband's faith However some-
thing turned up which influenced her
at the last minute to change her mind
and she failed to put in an appearance,
but on Thursday they wore quietly
married at St. Joseph's Church. The
bride was received into the Catholic
Church.
In Memory of Mary Quinton.
(Composed by James Dempsey her former
teacher, now of Neepawa, Manitoba.)
A light is from our household gone,
A voice we loved is still;
A place is vacant in our home,
That earth can never fill.
We have to mourn the loss of one.
We did our best to save;
Beloved on earth, regretted gone,
Remembered in the grave.
Thou art not lost, our darling one,
Not lost, but gone before;
And waiting now to welcome us,
Upon that golden shore.
Our Mary's grave—what weight of woe,
To us these words convey;
'was hard to lay her tiny form
In a bed of cold, cold clay.
She is in Heaven, our daughter dear,
With her we hope to be;
Mary 1 You can not come to us,
But we can go to thee.
We' strive to think our darling one,
Lies not beneath the sod;
ST ith hope we look beyond the grave,
Our Mary is with God.
