Hood's Sarsaparilla cleanses, vitalizes and en- riches the blood, throwing out the impurities that clog . and irritate the system andpermits no lodgment of the seeds of disease. React the following: "I cannot recommend Hood's Sarsapa- rilla too highly for it has done wonders for me. I was ■ b and all run down and nay health was so poor I could not get out of doors. I was not able to do anything, being troubled with asthma and heart disease. I was nervous and could not sleep nights. I had become completely discouraged when I happened to read an advertisement of Hood's Sarsaparilla and concluded to give it a trial. After taking the first bottle I felt better and since taking five bottles I am so much improved that I feel like a new man. I am now able to do a' fair day's work and sleep 00 at night. My heart does not trouble me and I have realized great relief for asthma. I feel full of courage once more and life seems brighter and worth living. I would recommend Hood's Sarsaparilla to all afflicted as I have been, for I know it will help them. It this statement of facts. will be of benefit, you are welcome to use it as you please,” . Toronto, Aug: 2.—There were heavy receipts at the Western Cattle Yards to -day and business was quiet.' Dealers and drovers were far apart until after ,aeon, when sales began to be made more freely at the dealers' prices. There were 70 carloads of stuff came in to -day and 15 left out of the 30 which offered yester- day -35 altogether. These, besides cattle, included 1,020 hogs and 1,850 sheep and lambs. Buying for Montreal was quiet Seven carloads of butchers' were taken for that market. Hogs were about the best line to -day at the Western Cattle Yards. Export Cattle—There were a good' many cattle of rather poor quality on the boards to -day, so that the general run of prices paid was about 34o per lb. lower. Dealers were operating slowly on slightly lower cables and lack of space aboard ship at Montreal. Demand has slackened somewhat In Glasgow and Liverpool. Prices paid here to -day ruled from 3340 to 4c per lb the best sale being a carload of cattle at 4o per lb. and $1 over on the deal. Three other loads sold at 4o per lb. Butchers' Cattle—Trade in this line was also somewhat quiet. There were too many cattle of poor quality and not enough good ones. Really choice butchers' will sell well enough, but common are a drug. The higher prices were paid only seldom. Some of the inferior cattle went even lower than Pc per lb. Such as those should not be sent in at all. Not- withstanding the dull market choice cat- tle were j ,.eked up early. Bulls—Steady. Some good shippers changed hands at 3o to 3%o per lb. and poorer' quality 'went at 2No per lb. A few good bulls are wanted, Sheep anti Lambs -Lambs were firmer at 3o to 4o per lb. or from $2.30 to $3 per head. The latter was paid for very good ones, and they are in demand. Ex- port sheep were more active to -day, sell- ing at from 3c to 3 1-8c per lb. Good exporters are wanted. Bucks are dull at 214e per lb. Butchers' sheep are not in request. Calves --There is no change in this line; then are steady at Tuesday's quota- tions. Choice Teals will fetch $6 or per- haps a little higher. The ruling figures aro from, $5 to $5.50 per head, Milch Cows and Springers—Not many offered and all sold. Good bag cows are fetching $35 per head. Common cows at $15 to $20 per head. Hogs—Firm. Choice singers sold to- day at 41.c per lb. All kinds are wanted except stores at Wines quoted below. PRODUCE. Butter ---.Very little demand is reported for any other than strictly first-oiass stuff.
