H. "C. T. Hooch Cr, Co., Lowell, Mass.: I cannot praise Hood's Sarsaparilla enough for what it 1i::s done for my boy. Some four years ago, when six years old, George was attacked by Trip disease in his right leg. Wo bad to get him a pair of crutches, with which[ he was able to move about, but became badly deformed. vdo had to have his right leg lanced just above the knee. in a few weeks a second sore broke out, both discharging freely. Agonizing pains afflicted him, he could not bear to be moved, his growth. was stopped and He Was a Melo Skeleton. He had no appetite, and it was hard work to make ltitn eat enough to keep him alive. A few weeks later wo had his hip lanced, and follow- ing this five other eruptions broke out, making eight running sores in all. Wo diel aliwe could for him, but he grew weaker every day, al- though we hacl three of tho best physicians. As a last resort wo were prevailed upon by relatives who had taken Hood's Sarsa- parilla with beneficial results to give the medi- cine a trial. Wo got ono bottle about the first of Marcel, 1802, and he had taken the medicine only a few days when his appetlte began to "'Improve. a about a. little witone bottle hes, Witch he had not been able to use for the pre- cedin three months. Wo continued faithfully with Hood's Sarsaparilla, and itl0 mouths he was Able to Go Dressed and go about the house without the crutches. He has now taken Hood's Sarsaparilla regularly for eighteen months, and for the past six months has been without the crutches, which he has outgrown by several inches. The sores haveall healed with the exception of one which is rapidly closing, only the scars and on occasional limp remaining as reminders of his suffering. Hoof s spaaiila •'.res Hood's Sarsaparilla in his case has truly done 'wonders, and he is daily gaining in flesh and good color, He runs about and plays as lively as any child. We feel an inexpressible jog at having our boy restored to health, and wo always speak in the highest terms of Hood's Sarsaparilla." Bis. IIt_:nw W. Alu1oPNY, Exeter, New Hampshire. In Canada thousands of old people are indebted to Paine's Celery Compound for th •ir present vigor, health and strength From disease, sickness, weakness and loss of energy, they have been raised to a condition of health that guarantees many years of lift; and use- fulness to their families and friends, Amongst the many old people who have been cured by Paine's Celery Compound, the case of Mrs. Hrnry Lewis. of Montreal, is deserving of special attention: her letter is an inter esting and worthy of earful perusal. Mrs. Lewis writes as follows: - "I am now an old woman, being in my seventy-third year; and can most frankly confess that no action of• my life has ever given me greater pleas- ure than the present one of testifying, with my whole heart and soul in favor of your Maine's Celery Compound; "From my experience with other ad- vertised remedies, I may say, that th y are not to be compared with your grand .medicine for a moment. Paine's Cel- ery Compound to me . was new health and increased strength; all other medi- cines I found worthless and my money was sweat in vain. "Two years ago. I became weak. sleepless and restless, aad my appetite was almost gone. Severe • headachess. biliousness, kidney , trouble and sore back made life a misery to me, and I despaired of being in health again. "These distressing troubles often confined me to bed for a week or tete days at a time; and, it is almost im- p ssible to describe the agonies and wretchednes I endured during these severe attacks. A friend advised me to give Paine's Celery Compound a trial; others insisted that I determined. to honestly and darefully test its value in my case; and I bless God that I had sufficient courage and will -power to do so, as it has made me a new woman. I used your Compound simply as direc- ted, and found, after commencing the second bottle that the virtues of the great medicine were instilling a new vitality and giving me a new existen- ce. "Up to date, I have•usedabout twelve bottles, and an, now completely and permanently restored. I do all in s own house work; I am cheefful and happy, and do not experience any of the fatigue and weakness that troubled me some months ago. "I live and enjoy life to -day, and thank God for the great agent of life that cured me. "I trust that thousands of womb will haweta chance to read this testi. many. and profit by my experience. I strongly appeal to all women to give tip other medicines thatthey are now vainly using, and commence at once with Paine's Celery Compound, which alone can bring back lost health, I wish I could personally visit every woman in Canada who is suffering- as 1 once suffered; I am sure my words of testimony and comfort would soon con- vince all that there is only otto `honest. worth and meritorious medieine that can meet their troubles, and that meal. cine is Paine's Celery Compound." 11 .st. Bil TIIOU UgE11SE A LADY SAVESFIFTY DOLLARS BY WISELY INVESTING SEVENTY -RYE CENTS A. wise, careful and thrifty wife and mother living about five miles from 4 llarge, and flourishing Ontario town, tell how she was enabled to save fifty dollars in a judicious investment of seventy five Bents, Her story runs as follows:, - Las autumn I found it was neces- sary to provide new overcoats, suits and dresses for tbrce boys and two girls. The materials for these gar- ments and the making and trimmings would cost fifty dollars. This was a sum to expend just at a time when we were making great efforts to build a new house. "For two days I thought the matter nyor, and after carefully examining my children's garments, the question strongly presented itself to my mind, can I make use of the Diamond Dyes?" Elf had used the Diamond Dyes be- fore with a great success in a smaller way, and so I determined to see what could bo done; with the view of saving so large a sum as fifty dollars, My children's garments were not torn or very badly worn; they were simply faded, dingy and old looking. I com- menced with an overcoat to test my skill, and succeeded in dyeing it a lovely dark shade of brown. 1 pressed and finished it in such a way that it looked like a new garment from the hand of a tailor. "Meeting with shell great success, I tried.tue other garments and achieved wonderful results, and the total cost of he work accomplished was only sew- enteeflve cents. "My boys and girls were astonished, and were quite as well pleased with the rouovared garments as they would have been with brand new ones. Very few people around me were aware of she fact that I had used Diamond Dyes to renew my children's clothing, and tit it for another winter's wear. " Of cour'e I told some of my friends how I had saved fifty dollars, and they are following my example, and are freely using the Diamond Dyes. "You will clearly see how any in- 'elligent and handy mother can easily save quite a sum of money every year. Dian and Dyes are certainly: money savers," iadman's ___l_EfC&EL LIVERY. First-class.
